Towards the end of my time at Twitter, I was helping to support a wide range of initiatives. One of the initiatives that sprang onto my plate was helping out with the early phase design work of what would ultimately become Twitter Analytics.

Companies needed more information from Twitter in order to better understand their key audiences. I was part of a small team that was attempting to help companies like Buzzfeed and the ESPN discover valuable insights about who they engage with via the platform.

A small group of designers, product managers and engineers went out and met with a handful of influencers in order to better understand their needs, wants and desires when it comes to Twitter analytics. We took what we learned back to the company, and designed an analytics dashboard that could help support the needs of our partners. I was part of the early-phase research, as well as part of the small team that helped design both the dashboard prototype and the visual language of the product at the time. What you see below are sketches and screenshots of my work on the project.
